New Mexico forward Drew Gordon had 17 points and 15 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to keep BYU from beating the Lobos.
Gordon enjoyed his first season in the Mountain West and averaged 12.8 points and 10.8 rebounds. Depending on who leaves for the NBA (such as Kawhi Leonard), Gordon could be in consideration for Mountain West player of the year next year if he can continue to be a double-double machine.
