Jimmy Butler led Marquette with 14 points and six rebounds in their 81-56 loss to Louisville on Thursday night. Darius Johnson-Odom scored 13 and Jae Crowder added 10 off the bench in the defeat.

Marquette, with two wins, did the work they needed to do in NYC. Running into a team that fresh that plays as fast as Louisville does prove to be their downfall ultimately. How far Marquette goes will depend on what the likes of Vander Blue, Dwight Buycks and Junior Cadougan provide offensively.
