Senior guard Ben Hansbrough scored a game-high 23 points in Notre Dame's 89-51 pasting of Cincinnati on Thursday night. Also reaching double figures were Carleton Scott (18 points, six rebounds and four assists), Tim Abromaitis (17, 6, 4) and Scott Martin (11). Jack Cooley grabbed seven rebounds off the bench.
Hansbrough put forth a very good performance in his first game since being named a unanimous member of the First Team All-Big East team. And if Notre Dame can play as they did on Thursday they definitely have a chance of getting to the Final Four.
