The bigger news for the Red Storm was D.J. Kennedy tearing his ACL, ruling him out of the upcoming NCAA Tournament, but Dwight Hardy played well in the 79-70 loss to Syracuse. Hardy scored 22 points and grabbed four rebounds, and three of his teammates scored in double figures as well.

The loss of Kennedy is a big one, but the Red Storm went big in his absence for much of the second half. Justin Brownlee, Justin Burrell and Sean Evans were on the floor at the same time, and don't be surprised if St. John's goes to that lineup even more next week.
