Marshall guard Damier Pitts had 12 points and nine assists as the Thundering Herd was silenced by UTEP. He missed all five of his three-point attempts.
Pitts had scored 53 points in his previous two games, but the partisan UTEP crowd caused him to shoot 4-for-14 from the field. The junior played in 24 games and averaged 16.1 points and 4.8 assists.
