Zamal Nixon scores 21 in Cougar loss

Houston guard Zamal Nixon had 21 points, including 12-for-12 from the free throw line, as the Cougars were beaten by Marshall in the Conference USA tournament.

Nixon finished his senior season on an upswing with 19.7 points in his last three games. The senior spent most of career backing up Aubrey Coleman and Kevin Lewis, but he averaged 10.3 points and 4.7 assists as a starter in his final season.
