Marshall forward Tirrell Baines had 22 points and 11 rebounds in a loss at UTEP. It was his first double-double since Dec. 15.
Baines, a senior, is averaging 12.8 points and 6.8 rebounds, but he wasn't able to push the Thundering Herd to their sixth straight win. Marshall will need a great run in the Conference USA tournament to keep playing after next week.
