Georgetown guard Chris Wright had surgery on his broken left hand is expected to return before the end of the season. Coach John Thompson III was optimistic about Wright's return, but did not offer a timetable. It was believed that Wright would miss the Big East tournament, but could return for the NCAA tournament.
Wright runs the show for the Hoyas and is averaging 13.1 points and 5.4 assists. Either Jason Clark or Austin Freeman will have to handle the ball more often. Freshman Markel Starks could get some of Wright's minutes
