Guard Jeremiah Kelly scored a career-high 23 points as DePaul ended their 25-game conference losing streak with a 79-76 win at Providence. Kelly also accounted for six steals, five rebounds and three assists. Cleveland Melvin added 20 points and six rebounds, and Brandon Young finished with 17 (and nine turnovers).

Much has been made about what Melvin and Young mean to the future of the program, but in the present they'll need help from a cast of veterans who haven't done much to prove themselves to be Big East-caliber players. Thursday night marked the first time since December 18th that Kelly has reached double figures in scoring.
