Marshall guard Damier Pitts scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Thundering Herd past ECU. He tied a season high with five three-pointers, but had nine turnovers.

Pitts sat out the fall semester to get his academic house in order. It seems the extra studying has helped his game as well: he is averaging 15.8 points and has four 20-point games.
