Delaware Freshman guard Devon Saddler, leading candidate for CAA Rookie of the Year, scored a career-high 25 points in the Blue Hens' loss to Hofstra. He added a career-high seven rebounds.
Saddler is the cream of the crop among CAA rookies. Like most freshman he has disappeared at times this season, but he has come on strong of late. Saddler has reached double figures in scoring in 12 of his last 13 games and is averaging 12.4 points this season.
