Senior guard Austin Freeman scored a team-high 23 points in Georgetown's 83-81 win over Providence. Also reaching double figures for the Hoyas were Jason Clark (18), Chris Wright (16, five assists) and Julian Vaughn (14, 11 rebounds and four assists).
The bigger news in Georgetown's victory from their perspective has to be the play of Vaughn, who posted his first double-double in Big East play this season.
