Mike Coburn was one of three Scarlet Knights to score 12 points but it wasn't enough to knock off #2 Pitt at the RAC, falling by the final score of 65-62. Jonathan Mitchell added seven rebounds to his point total while Robert Lumpkins blocked three shots in addition to his 12 points.
For Rutgers to win games they're going to have to turn contests into streetfights, and it makes sense with head coach Mike Rice looking to model his program after the one they played on Saturday night. Mitchell, Coburn and James Beatty stand to be the closest thing the Scarlet Knights have to primary options but Dane Miller and Mike Poole can also score.
