Auburn recruits Luke Cothron and Shawn Kemp Jr. were ruled academically ineligible and will not play this season.
Cothron is a 6-foot-8 power forward who averaged 31 points and 13 rebounds as a high school senior. Kemp is one of the many sons of Shawn Kemp who would have added muscle to the Tiger front line at 6-foot-9, 235 pounds. Tony Barbee's first year as the Auburn coach is not starting all that well.
