New Mexico swingman Darington Hobson finished the season with an 11-point, nine-rebound game against Washington as the Lobos were ousted from the NCAA tournament. He was somewhat hampered by an injured wrist.
Hobson told the AP, “They played the best game of their life tonight, They’re not even that good. They just played a good game tonight. We weren’t ready, and they beat us.” Sounds like a bit of sour grapes to me from the Mountain West Player of the Year. He'll command a high draft slot in fantasy drafts next year, but he may need to take some lessons in etiquette.
