Northern Iowa guard Kwadzo Ahelegbe struggled through a 1 of 11 shooting day but still doled out five assists in an upset win over Kansas.
Ahelegbe fought his way through his worst shooting effort this season and still managed to contribute by running the team effectively and making just two turnovers. He did knock down 3 of 4 from the free throw line and added one steal. Ahelegbe and the Panthers take on either Maryland or Michigan State in the next round.
