New Mexico State forward Troy Gillenwater had 17 points and 11 rebounds off the bench in the opening round loss to Michigan State. It was his third double-double of the year.
The 6-foot-8 sophomore did all his damage in 24 minutes tonight. He missed the first 21 games of the season due to academics but played extremely well down the stretch for the Aggies. He averaged 14.4 points and 6.4 rebounds in just under 23 minutes this season. If he grabs a starting role next season he could be a fantasy steal for a lot of owners.
