Montana guard Anthony Johnson was held to six points in the opening round loss to New Mexico. He shot 1 for 12 from the field.
Johnson came into the game averaging 26.3 points on 60% shooting over his last eight games, but he was smothered by the Lobos' defense. His six-point output was only the fifth time he was held under 10 points all season. It was amazing that the Grizzlies were even in the game with Johnson, the only player who came into the game averaging double figures, struggling.
