New Mexico State forward Troy Gillenwater was a major factor in the Aggies' win over Utah State in the WAC championship. He played 23 minutes and scored 15 points.
The announcers may have actually made a relevant point in that Gillenwater is like the change of pace postman for the Aggies to replace Hamidu Rahman, who starts halves. Gillenwater is a more dynamic offensive player and converted 39.3% of his threes in limited time this season. The Aggies have a host of fantasy options to choose from and may be able to pull an upset.
