San Diego State forward Malcolm Thomas provided 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in a one-point win over Colorado State. Thomas was 6 of 8 from the field, but just 3 of 6 from the line.
Thomas has been overshadowed by Kawhi Leonard in his first year with the Aztecs, Thomas has averaged 11.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks. Top-seeded New Mexico is next and Thomas averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds against the Lobos in two games.
