Eastern Michigan guard Carlos Medlock had a career-high 42 points in the Eagles' double-overtime loss to Akron. He was 13 of 26 from the field.
Medlock came back from a missed season in 2008-09 because of a knee injury. He averaged 16.9 points and 3.8 assists. Brandon Bowdry chipped in 21 points.
