Gary Flowers gets another dub-dub

Southern Mississippi forward Gary Flowers had 17 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in a Conference USA quarterfinal win over Tulane. Flowers did not shoot well with 6 of 17 from the field and 5 of 9 from the line.
The 6-foot-8 junior leads the Golden Eagles in scoring (14.8) and rebounding (8.1). Southern Miss plays UAB next. Flowers averaged 18 points and eight rebounds against the Blazers.
