Montana freshman guard Will Cherry had 17 points and a season-high seven steals in a win over Eastern Washington.
Cherry is a 6-foot-1 guard who has scored in double-figures in five straight games. He appears to be gaining a foothold on the guard position next to senior Anthony Johnson and could be a player to look at in leagues that cover all of Div 1.
