Rejoice basketball fans as the college teams are set to hit the hardwood in a little over two weeks. The Pac 10 conference only has one team ranked in the preseason (#17 Washington) but that doesn't mean it lacks impact talent for your fantasy teams. Klay Thompson is a scoring machine and the obvious choice as the top player (unless you can somehow get your league to make Derrick Williams center eligible). The state of Washington is well-represented with five of the top 12 players in the conference but watch out for the Los Angeles schools which have plenty of players worth drafting. While the conference doesn't boast a top ten incoming freshman by recruiting services, there are opportunities for plenty of youngsters to make a name for themselves early on. In fact, Allen Crabbe and Dwight Powell could end up leading their teams in scoring. Also keep an eye out for Maurice Jones at USC as he should see the majority of minutes at the point until Jio Fontan becomes eligible around midseason. It should be an exciting season out West as the Pac 10 looks to return to national respectability.
